As usual, Jacob, you've pointed out the obvious thing that nobody else is looking at. It's been a dismal holiday season so far, but I can't wait to get my marketing plan up and running in January. And from what you've said, I SHOULDN'T wait!

I surely understand why many webmasters don't like SideWiki and fear that competitors will use it to add comments to your site that will be as helpful as the comments that graffiti artists add to bathroom walls.

You should monitor the SideWiki comments on your own site(s) closely and act promptly on negative comments. There are now tools available that can monitor SideWiki comments for you, and alert you when new comments are posted.

Hey Jacob, I enjoyed this report a lot, and it gave me some worthwhile marketing ideas that I can't wait to try. My business is in a funk right now, but hopefully your guide will show me the way to market my way out of this mess. Thanks a lot!

Interesting stuff. But here's the problem with business learning. I know I'm an expert at the marketing and writing things that I do, but how do I show my prospects that I'm a 10,000-hour expert?

That's like what they do at a bakery near my home. Most of their stuff is average, but they have really amazing jalapeno chese bread. People line up just to by the cheese bread, and then since they are already there they buy cake, donuts, cookies and all the other things. The jalapeno bread is their "string." If a business has just one thing that they do better than everybody else, they can get a lot of customers for their other services too.
